We are oversubscribed and are currently full until September 2026. We are operating a waiting list and are able to add new children to that list upon application.
In line with our Admissions policy, due to being over-subscribed, we are applying an upper limit to the number of hours that children may attend the Nursery. This maximum number of hours varies with age and is usually a maximum of 2 days for two year olds and 3 days for three & four year olds.

Mells Nursery was awarded 'Outstanding ' in all areas by Ofsted in March 2020.
We are a registered Charity operating as a term-time, voluntary run, private, community pre-school for children aged 2 years old until school age. Our setting operates during school term-time only. We serve the picturesque Somerset village of Mells and the surrounding area, approximately three miles from Frome.
We provide a caring, safe place in which children are encouraged to be independent, curious and question the world around them. We work with the Early Years Foundation Stage as a long term plan to help each child reach their potential. We welcome you and your child to our nursery and hope that their time with us is enjoyable and that from learning through play the children receive a foundation for life.
